Meet Angie Curwen

Angie Curwen is chosen as the Lib Dem parliamentary candidate for Herne Bay & Sandwich!

The local champion fighting for Herne Bay & Sandwich Constituency

Angie Curwen will be the Liberal Democrats candidate for the new Herne Bay & Sandwich parliamentary constituency in the upcoming General Election.

Originally from Sandwich, Angie and her husband Tony live at Quex Park, Birchington, where they manage the estate.

With a professional background in Information Technology in the City of London and Pfizer, Angie has a wide range of interests, including Quex Foods, volunteering at a local primary school and is a Trustee of “Louie’s Helping Hands”, a charity supporting children with complex medical and educational needs. She is a founding member of the Thanet Community Land Trust, a non-political organisation which works to develop community-led housing.

She now works as a personal counsellor and is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Angie was our candidate for North Thanet in 2019.
