The Year Ahead - How We Make a Difference in 2026

Saturday 28th February 2026 (9.30am to 2.00pm)

Thanington Resource Centre, Thanington Road, Canterbury CT1 3XE

With significant National and International events due to take place this year, this is a chance for members to meet and consider how we ensure our Lib Dem voices are heard widely. We will hear from speakers on a range of topics, with time for discussion. Also an update from local councillors and a chance to discuss the Motions going to the LD Spring Conference in York.

Visit the house, gardens, art studio, café and shop. 

Travel together by coach. 

Leaving Canterbury at 9.30am, return by 4.30pm.

Meet other Lib Dems for coffee and discussion on Saturday mornings at 10.30 in the upstairs room of Coffee Corner Cafe, 51-52 St Dunstan's Street, Canterbury CT2 8BS.

Each month we focus on recent events and/or explore particular areas of policy.

Last Saturday of each month 10.30am-12.00 unless indicated (not in *February, August or December):

2026: 31st January, 28th March, *25th April, 30th May, 27th June, 25th July, 26th September, 31st October, 28th November.

* No coffee morning in February due to ‘The Year Ahead’ event at Thanington on 28th February - all welcome.
